can someone explain ?

finally got the iptv working in kodi 15.2 since the upgrade on video add on xstream but my epg was way out as in the program never matched the tv and the program kept cutting out as in stopped and went back to the channel list so being the adventurous type that i am i deleted my build in 15.2 and loaded kodi 16.0 and tried to get the stalker client pvr working kept getting the usual authentication failed so i then uploaded 16.1 and the same problem now i have done everything on every tutorial here as in iptv reset clearing guide data and cache disabling live tv ect ,changed mac address but my big question is why does it work for a lot of people and not for others ?its extremely frustrating as i have wasted enough time of my life on getting this to work

also when i load xstream in 16.1 no channels appear its very frustrating

All I can recommend is to make sure you have configured correctly. If you have done IPTV Reset, all the server is waiting for is the MAC address and your login/password are correct. It sounds like you are upgrading to the later versions of Kodi, and you should consider starting fresh, as internal databases for Live TV may corrupt on update. Clearing cache, and the channel database may do the trick, but not always.
