Ok I got service working on KODI 17 w/stalker client using url http://p1.iptvrocket.tv/c/ after resetting iptv & changing mac, But I was using iptv stalker plus lite 1.1.0 because it has vod. Has anybody got the stalker plus lite working & if so how. There is no place for url only mac or ip.

did you have to change the mac? many end users are connecting via Stalker Plus 1.1.0 (most current ver) they should help those out soon, regardless of the kodi version.. unless Dara adds the option to edit url in Stalker Plus settings, we will remain at nfps ' mercy..

I Believe the authors may have to edit the addon so that it can work with the new url links as they are baked into the addon.

mag 254 did connected to the new portal for rocket, it didn't ask for log in password. Box is a little slow when changing channels. so far so good.

mine is working with new url on kodi build in stalker pvr 16.1 and 17.1 RC1 with epg on both. it fixed the epg issue on 17
but video is choppy audio is out of sync for both on most channels that i checked
they probably working on that lets give them time they did not change platforms to give us worst i give the team an " A " for efort
and if yours is not working it is more likely your fault . sorry been there done that, you probably locked your shelf out too many resets or entered some wrong info

The stalker plus is not made by the providers and is made by a few nice members that wanted to help out others. So with that said they don't test to make sure addons work with there updates.. After an update comes out its up to the addon maker to fix the addon to work again with the providers service. I think people seem to be confused that it is somehow the providers fault that they are down using stalker plus which is not the case. If you want to be up and running use what others have mentioned they are using that works....

that said,while true (partly), it would serve all party's interest to be in the know - surely nfps knows about the different possibilities for their customers/endusers of watching using their product (iptv) namely why they knew of the stalker clones being used in the past (not so long ago) and took all those extra security measures as a result - so dont tell me they dont know about the current stalker addon (by Dara i believe) that was tinkered after or during that debacle - they should have had all their ducks in a row - just sayin...how many customers are affected??? hmmm i dare say a good bunch ;)

New upgrade has these issues with the Mag:
Set up button gone, blue move button does not work when used on fav list (seems like channels are locked in number positions)
EPG on favs when selected reverts back to all channels instead of justs favs.
Each channel shows info when scrolled but when selected the info disappears.
Having gone through computer upgrades in my business life it never goes as easily as planned.

don't think its an upgrade in a true sense, otherwise there wouldnt have been so many issues...for all we know , could be a whole new group taking over and wanted to start on a better footing... could be anything really -

just find it strange that a group of individuals could have been around for so long in this industry and mess something like this up so easily? makes no sense to me,,,just sayin and yes, im speculating - one thing is 100% true we will never know what's what..any one else have a better thought/feedback? im all ears.

other than the already known ways to watch iptv via nfps (and to be clear ive been a customer since they started day 1) im struggling to see all those other ways..is there a new way im not aware of? or is this in the future?

read it the day it came out...i dont see where it mentions "new" ways... did you mean new ways to connect to servers ( sorry if i misunderstood) that i would believe -but they have failed, so far..nothing has changed, i wished they had a spokesperson come on here and explain , like when they had when they first strated, then we would know the real truth..that annoucement is vague, pardon my french

The supported ways to access the providers is a mag unit, stb emulator or the prv client...just because others use an addon that they like does not mean that it's supported and tested by them. I have both the PVR client and the STB setup and have had zero issues with either. I use the STB emulator daily and find it to work great.. Yes you do need to read how up set it up but once it's going it works just fine 👍

i think thats a little unfair, (and im not a reseler) do you really think some of the customers, nfps rakes in from endusers, be it through a reseller or directly have all the means to know all the options? many who buy iptv from nfps relys on getting the product and if that means an addon like stalker? thent hey shoud,support it..otherwise why send endusers to this site for support - i believe they should bear the brunt of this backlash - if they knew this was going to affect the stalker clients then they should be up front with it, not create a mess like this and leave it as oh well, live with it...its not reseller's fault if their endusers lost connection..

have you ever stopped to think, not many peeps care for pvr option? or going out to buy a mag? its not dara' fault nfps never kept them in the loop - and until a fix is found to make stalker work again (if ever), everyone is going to point fingers at nfps, but they will rake it in no matter

lol, it depends on what method and encoding and formats are used. Some like VLC for instance will crash if a VOD movie is selected. Yes VODs are there with VLC but could be my old laptop I run here si reason for the crashes. They work fine thru Mag and Playlist methods.

Anyway, get to know the perks of certain players with certain Playlists general formats.

This new upgrade is not a peice of crap. The service now allows most any device to receive the service and with better self editing abilities and lots more.

I never said you are a reseller I was stating that resellers are upset because they actually have to do some work and fix there customers boxes to work again with the new update. When this service came out this addon was not one of the supported ways to access the programming... They send end users here to help them get up and running with the supported ways to access it which the addon was not one of them. Again Dara and couch potato brought the dead addon back from the dead and made it work again around 3 months ago. Before that people connected with a mag, Avon, STB emulator and PVR client. As with anything in life you buy its up to you to do the research and figure out what and or how it works. Why would the bare the brunt of any backlash when all that needs to be done is switch to one of the other options to access the servers still work? They did not make the addon and when you sign up for the service it tells you the supported options to access the providers. There are plenty of other providers out there if you don't care for the way they have you connect to the service here. Many people don't want to be bothered to actually do some reading and figure out what other ways work and how to connect. The STB pro version works just fine alone with the PVR client but with that said many don't want to be bothered to actually take the time and learn how to set it up. Also I never said you need to go out and buy a mag, that is one of the many ways to connect. It's hard enough to get them to give updates when they are doing things in general and to think they are going to give different addon makers a heads up is a pipe dream! I never said anything about it being Dara's fault he and couch potato made the addon work again and email Papio directly and ask them why they didn't keep them in the loop. Please post the response you get from them here if they even get back to you at all!! Some providers are great letting everyone know what's going on and some don't and that's the way it is....
I see that Dara said that the addon will not be updated anyway so this is a non issue either way, people will need to do a bit ad reading and learn how to connect using different options now.... That is what's great about this site as people help each other getting up and running when things change!!
