okay thanks - i know theyre fta irds but i thought they might be a way to convert them but then i read up on the T6 and come to realize theyr not fta but what got be curious was the name Dreamlink.. DOH - now back to my thought of selling them off, need some extra $$ to buy a larger screen TV, lol

so, i read further on the T6 and apparently its an FTA rec as well as kodi installed to stream - i guess its been built that way as opposed to converted - someone should find a dongle to convert other older fta irds...just sayin..i really miss using my ilink...lol
id have to research Dreamlink T6 and understand what they did to include streaming (android based) via kodi and able to watch satellite channels off fta/iks..interesting

Research TVHeadEnd
That is the magic that allows the T6 to work with both iptrv and fta
Dreamlink also has newer T1 model and that one is iptv only.
The T1 is a better receiver for iptv, as compared to the T6
