I get no speed, only 3mb/smag 25

Hello,
Me and 2 friends have just bought the mag 254 w2 ( with the built in wifi ) we all have 100mb internet connection but none of us has been able to surpass even 4mb/s so we are not able to watch any HD channels without loads of buffer. We have all tried to use both wifi and cable but nothing seems to help. The first thing I did was do the update on the box ofcourse. Has anyone had this problem or know what could be the problem? Thank you.

Ya...that's not right. I'm at 80mb/s and getting 70 on my Mag. Are you connected by Ethernet or wireless?

Seems like a router issue with your cable provider if you have tried both options, go into your ISP router`s wireless option setup you will see 802.11 b/g/n/ac choose ac save and try again.

I have tried both ethernet via router and directly from the outlet so it cant be just the wireless. Will try to put on ac though when i get home today to see what happens.

Ya...that's not right. I'm at 80mb/s and getting 70 on my Mag. Are you connected by Ethernet or wireless? My friends bought the same boxes as me and they have the same problem. Was thinking it might be something wrong with that batch or something, if anyone had come across this before.

Have you tried updating the software of the mag?
