James McAvoy plays a schizophrenic with 23 personalities, one of the personalities (Dennis) abducts 3 girls, for reasons unknown.
The film focuses around the girls' interactions with the many characters and McAvoy's relationship with his psychiatrist.
I found it quite a dark film which kept you wondering where it was going.
The final scene of the film left me thinking "where the hell did that come from??"
I'm sure some will love and others will hate.

Can someone tell me what did Bruce Willis mean to the movie?
that comes from M. Night Shyamalan film Unbreakable, with Bruce as the hero that will not stop at saving the innocent.
Plus I think, Bruce has interests in Shyamalan's work :)
Last scene makes more sense now - thanks Laser!

James McAvoy put on an oscar worthy performance in the movie (my opinion) His character(s) are so much fun to watch, the mannerisms, voices, physical body language, are astounding to watch. Given the movies genre though, he may only pick up a SAG award for his performance. As a thespian myself I found his performance mesmerizing. The plot is good, and a very m. night shamalyan ending. I would highly recommend this movie.
