Grided Guide Update

Is there a why to keep the grided guide populated? Sometimes if I keep it on a channel for a long time and go back out to the guide and start browsing through to find something else to watch I have to stop and wait a while browsing for the guide to populate and make my way up doing this. Is there anything I can turn on to keep the guide updated? Something to keep it polling for new data. I only use my small fav group of channels so i thought that would help but it doesn't.

Nope, not that I'm aware of. It'll only load info for the 5 channels you happen to be looking at on the grid at any given time.... if you're lucky.

I wish they would make it update in the background while watching a channel, or completely populate when you launch DOL or the epg, or give us a button to force a complete update.

Still though, it's a huge upgrade to what I had with Avov.

Yeah that's true about the avov. Hopefully there's an update that will keep the guide populated in the background or like you said an option to populate the entire guide when needed.

Nope. Best you can do is adjust your time zone until the epg info and "currently playing line" display correctly, and ignore the fact that the displayed times are all wrong.

I cannot figure out what time zone I should select. I'm currently in est time zone.
