There is a circular medalian on the right side of screen. Can that be removed?

Are you using an android box? Is ES File Explorer installed? I've read that new versions of ES File Explorer puts some sort of icon on your screen, but I don't have personal experience with that issue.

I use an older version of that software without the bloatware.

sounds like you have ES file explorer, go into that, open settings and look for something like floating icon, or toggle and turn it off

Yep es file Explorer. I had same problem. Went into the ES app and did a force close. Not seen it since
