Someone has written a guide to install the new stalker client
https://seo-michael.co.uk/tutorial-how-to-install-stalker-kodi-xbmc/
Also MetalKettle has added it to his repo....
What do people think?
Is traffic on the servers about to ramp up and is it about time to start paying?? discuss.....
I really don't mind to be honest. The only thing that we're waiting for is a EPG to test against, and then we go pay. All these new channels are pretty useless unless they are produced by NFPS themselves.
MetalKettle... cheeky! The other thing is that pocpoc will be getting help on the add-on since the rest of the community knows about it.
Best place to put this thread is in the Kodi discussion, but anyway... someone posted a video..

I think it's both. Let the buffering begin!
Here's vdubt25's video:

Good for newbies who don't know how to install a repo and add-on from a clean Kodi/xbmc install

Great to see the stalker add-on getting a lot of exposure lately but this may have a knock on effect. I informed metalkettle about the forum after seeing the add-on in his repo and on MJD website without any redirection to here. I was delighted when he joined and contacted the developer to thank him.
However I fear that when thousands of people start using and sharing the stalker addon it will severely affect the servers, this will hamper the addon. So even though it might be more premature than intended, I think the servers should be paid.
I would happily pay for the service and I'm sure many other users would too. I hope that epg and pvr is implemented in future to make this a killer add on.
Server load is what is wanted, every time the server is overloaded changes can be made to handle that load better. Makes it bulletproof (so to speak) to overload when the server goes paid IMHO since there will be less connected.
