MX Box No Video in Kodi

A friend asked me to install Kodi 16.1 to his old MX box (that's the exact model). I installed Kodi 16.1 using a jump drive. After installing the apps in Video Add-On, I could hear the audio playing but the video was just black screen. It showed the progress bar and the filename of the video on the screen but not the actual video itself. I uninstalled and reinstalled Kodi five times already but it is still the same. This happens to all of the apps I added to video add on.

Anyone knows how to fix this "no video" issue in a MX box? Thanks. :confused:

go into video settings and change hardware acceleration If its unchecked check it and vice versa
