I think my best choices are this one posted and the Matrix reloaded Bugatti chase on that freeway :eek:
And then there is Bullit with Steve McQuin...Not many can beat Bullit, especially for lenghth and audio quLITIES, but Tarantino does good :)

Every time I watch the Bullit chase, I count the number of times that green VW Beetle gets passed.

I'm not sure if the French Connection chase is a 'car chase', but it does involve a car!

Did you know that the same audio track of that chase in Bullit was used in another later car scene movie. A Rod Stieger movie. He was driving a Pontiac Venturea and it sounded awusome, it should have thou cause it was the Pony Cars pipes we were hearing from Bullit :)
The same guy that was driving that dodge chasing Steve McQuieen, was also the same guy that was driving the get away car which Stieger was chasing.
