Nascar - Carl Edwards to retire

Looks like Concrete Carl will be retiring and will not be racing this coming season.
His public announcement is slated for tomorrow.

I read that he's leaving on his own terms... not due to health, exclusively. I was worried that it may have been for a serious health condition, but he's just contented where he's at with life... without racing. I wouldn't be too surprised that he would want to come back though.

Carl has a humorous side that is hard to catch sometimes.

Check this Taurus commercial. Carl is driving and his passengers are the engineers that designed the Taurus.
Some of the engineers did not know who Carl was., and some did.
