How M3U Server works:
Open an M3U client such VLC or SIMPLE IPTV and add the address:

Change the portal number according the server that you want to navigate.

How to pick-up the Serial Number, device_id, device_id2, signature
Some servers request that information to authenticate.

If you don't have an MAG254 and will activate a new service with a new Mac Address, enable ONLY the options "SEND SERIAL". The system will create automatically a new Serial Number.

If you already have an MAG254, you have to pick up the Serial Number, device_id, device_id2, and signature directly from your equipment and enable the option "CUSTOM SERIAL".
The MAG254 must be updated with Public Version to have ssh access.

Turn on the MAG254 and go to Home Portal. Don't open any portal.
Open the ssh and execute the commands:

Open the portal and get the information on console.
You can update the information manually on config. Go to userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.stalker and edit the file settings.xml

portal.iptvprivateserver.tv works, 1.iptvprivateserver.tv doesn't. I looked at the code, nothing special that replaces "portal" to "1". There might be a bug that the second server may overwrite the entry for the first server, though.

I am open for suggestions always, here is what I am facing, when I install the pvr from post one it goes into the video add-ons section instead of being listed under the rest of the pvr, I might need to tweak something, as I said always open for ideas and suggestions.
on pc it is fine but the problem persists on an Android based system with kodi 14.2 and up.

That's how I tried to set it up. Just like a portal on the standard software in the MAG254. Kodi 14.2 on Windows 8 doesn't seem to like it for some reason. I might downgrade it to 14.1 and see if that works for me later in the day.

Great job pocpoc, I like it because there is no Mac authentication needed which is a big deal as long as the trial lasts, but also it could be run simultaneously with the pvr since it's a video add-ons.

I go away for a few hours and its almost like a new day for this add-on!

Currently testing 1.04 on PC Kodi 14.2 ...

There are channels missing for sure, looking like the Adults 15-24 and named Adults. Also, possibly the same type of bug, server configuration, which only allows the first 14 VoD movies to be listed, but at least now they are the newest ones. I do like the Parental Control, there are more steps involved if you want to hide channels in the PVR client. The older version (0.5) of the PVR client and AVOV boxes have the same issue with the missing Adults, but the newer, pre-release versions of the PVR client correct this.

For those who may not grasp what the difference is between video add-on and a PVR client, the PVR client would be more of what you would expect out of a dedicated set top box, with the possibility of recordings and buffered pauses, but this add-on does allow for a quick browse and select for channels and vod available to you from the server. Its also a heck of a lot easier to install than the PVR client... at least for most people.

Definately alot easier. But the pvr is also really easy to set up once you know what to do. Just needs to be explained better. Confused me until I found a good post that told how to do it. After its set you dont need to worry about it.

Selfish of me but I hope it doesnt get popular or free iptv trial will end really fast. All other iptv addons are horrible, any english channels I did find that worked had spanish subs. And they all took forever to load.
This one is great. Best iptv addon out there by far.

@pocpoc, this is an awesome add-on, and great work. I like the idea of adding the channel number, but I can live without that, it helps just for reference. The one thing that I can see that would be great improvement is to allow a load of All, English and Español VoDs. Sometimes the served name helps, but sometimes not.

Again, great job. I look forward to seeing if NFPS gets an EPG going, and hopefully your add-on can work when they change it to a pay service.

MAC isn't required for this add-on. It may be in the future. Don't confuse this with the PVR client.

When you select the portal, say "NFPS", don't click, type the letter 'c' to bring up the context menu, and there you can clear the cache. Right click will work as well. There is another brute force method to do that, but I won't go into it here.

If you are doing this on a android on a touch screen, press and hold on the NFPS, or use your remote menu button when highlighted on NFPS.

It now comes pre-configured as the "default" portal. If upgrading to the 1.05 from 1.03, there are more VoD's and adults available, so I recommend clearing the cache.

if anyone is having issues with error or server client failed upon initial start up the IPTV STALKER(baby blue) logo in your video add-ons. simply right click with your mouse while pointed at the logo this will open a sub menu , click on addon settings at the bottom of the list & here you can disable parental control next to the Portal . exit and it will work now.
this worked on xbmc 13.2 and Kodi 14.2 with that issue. so it should for the other versions.

An update to why this happened. MetalKettle added this to his repository, and now will be auto-updating with the version there. I'm not sure if the author actually gave permission, but assuming he did, and if you do have that repo, you'll be getting updates via that method. Version number is now 1.62.

Firstly what an amazing addon. Great work.
Just for record I have no intention of passing get this off as my own. All the authors details have been kept in the addon so it avoids confusion. The addon was brought to my attention earlier and people wanted an easy way to install. Some people get lost installing from zips/github.

On the version 1.0.7 I've added a feature to put a custom mac address for authentication.
I'd like to implement the epg, but the NFPS server does not provide the epg information.
Is there a plugin or pvr that shows the epg for NFPS server ?

Not that I know of mate, that's not to say there isn't. Would scraping the sky epg be aby good. I believe that's available.

Your best bet would be to use XMLTV and build a custom grabber to grab the info for all the chanels.. otherwise.. ON-Tapp and FTV guide will show some of the EPG data

Pocpoc is not in control of what is broadcast on the server.. fact is, no one can tell you if the fight will be broadcast. you will have to wait and see like everyone else.

You are confusing this simple video add-on with the PVR client. First, unless you have the PVR client installed, turn off the LIVE TV with the settings. This plugin should be on your Video add-on list, right click on it to bring up the settings, and click on Defaults. You don't need to enter anything else at this point.

Look at the 2nd post in this thread, to find a link to a video on how to set this up. You might already have it installed, but just have issues with running. it.

The video link is dead. I am able to see the channel list, but I have not been able to experience any improvement with watching channels. It seems that I have to go through 3 additional steps to get to the channel list. Also, I cant see the benefit of the additional portals in the config menu.

I uninstalled the original PVR Stalker, then installed the new one. Restarted kodi,found that the new portal was already pre-set etc. but am not seeing any improvement.

This is true, but simpliest way would be to download and install Kodibuntu, then add the addon... especially if your not familiar with linux... I'm using Ubuntu 15 for this...

It's just a different portal to the same server. Don't forget to clear the cache if you want to add the new channels and VoD added late yesterday.

Problem I am having is I try updating to 1.0.7 and Kodi keeps "updating" back to 1.0.62.

The only way I was able to do it is by uninstalling the addons then go to metalkettle then get video addons and reinstall it since it get updated automatically in that repo to 1.0.7.

That makes a lot of sense to me Laser, although on it takes only 2 second to uninstall it and reinstall it again and the good about it is it shows up again loaded with the url ready to fire up again with all the channels there for you.

SuperRepo also has this add-on in its lists, so if you have autoupdate on, and Super, it will update from there as well. If you don't want to turn auto update off, you either have to rename the add-on inside the code, or move code from the new version into the installed folder, except addon.xml. Or, you can have pm MetalKettle to update his repo to the newest code.

Check if you have SuperRepo installed, and see if it has the IPTV Stalker in its list. The weird thing is that .62 is greater than .7 to the repository, so it overwrite it. If that's the case, you have a choice of uninstalling the SuperRepo, or just riding with .62.

But i see what dara is saying...system isnt seeing it as 1.0.70 but as a single 7. and of course when it sees 1.0.62 its seeing 62, hence 62>7 so it thinks its an update. Superrepo should really update to latest version, but yes in meantime ill just remove that repo.
Think that was what was giving AAA all that trouble all along with their update reverting to MK version.

Have you updated to the latest version? The Dev said he fixed a bug regarding your issues. I haven't tried it with any paid service though. I'm interested in knowing if it works with paid services

I was talking about the ivue epg addon. It doesn't work with paid channels, only NFPS.

We can't support other servers here, but for now, if you are connecting to a server that uses a MAC for validation, it should work. You need to install 1.0.7 to access the MAC entry. It has been reported to work with at least one other pay service.

I'll try to summarize the steps. You will need to use IPTV Stalker (1.0.11) as a local server, then configure the PVR IPTV Simple Client (not PVR.Stalker). You also will have to install the iVue TV Guide, follow the directions in this thread:

Are there plans to allow for user names and password eventually in the IPTV Stalker addon? This way if a person signs up with any IPTV provider certain information would be able to be generated per addon. Ideally if the IPTV Stalker addon could infact generate the info a person would need to "tell" the provider the serials, mac address etc as if a person were using a Mag254 that would be the best scenario. Currently running kodi on Pivos/Windows/AFTVStick.

You have to set your timezone offset where 0=EST so for PST do -3.. then you must delete your kodi PVR database in settings > TV >General.. and then disable/reenable the PVR
