My set top box disables my 2.6ghz wifi

My set top box with iptv subscription is connected by cable to the internet.
But when I start it up it disables or really slows down my 2.6ghz wifi.
How is this possible? I have a 300mb/s connection so speed shouldn't be the problem.
The 5ghz wifi is not affected by this.

No my whole wifi just doesn't work anymore when I start it up.

try changing the usb wifi adapter
