DOL Update ?!!!

Hi all,

Thanks for the great service.

I just turned on my T1 and noticed a DOL Update......as the yellow line filled ....it still says "Downloading" and after an hour still says "Downloading"
Is that supposed to take that long?
So, I turned the TV off and after about an hour turned the TV back on and T1 still "Downloading"....so I unplugged the T1 and went to work and came back few hrs later and turned the T1 back on and again started the DOL Update....?!!! :(((
Its frustrating......how long is it supposed to take to finish an update ?

yes sir, I finally pressed exit and I am watching TV as we speak.
I hope I did not interrupt the downloading process though.........:(
but its taking super long time.
I have a wired 175 Mbps internet speed.

Can a Mod confirm if this is a gradual roll out for the T! ? And if so Y does it take so long ?

It suppose tyo fix login issues which is a very annoying problem on the ver 10802

802 is latest,803 was pulled No file has been released recently

Thanks guys, but why is that my DOL Update keeps saying Downloading... ??
and am I supposed to exit from it or the update supposed to go away off my screen on it own ? cause my DOL Update does not go off my screen at all....I have waited for hours and still on ?!! its super frustrating...:(((

I would exit out and try not to reboot your dreamlink until the next update I don't know when that will be but at least you won't damage it

thanks for the reply, but the DOL Update does not come to an end and all I see is "Downloading..."
So, I unplugged for waited and plugged back in and under my system info I have:
S/W Version: v2.4.4

is that right?

the dol update is seperate from the main software ,244 is the latest main sw
802 is the dol software

Where do I go on the menu to check to see if I got 802 update on my T1 ?

its at the top of dol before the mac addy Some people will have 803 there

why is that? If I already have 08.03 update, why is it updating again ?!!!

i would not worry about missing an update.
Check in here every now and again to see if anyone is reporting new updates, then turn it on for that.
or you could leave update on, disconnect power from receiver, disconnect internet.
Power up, then connect internet, (might need another reboot), then check results weather that old update is still there.

I would take NBS word for it then.
I had one of these T1 boxes at one time , but no longer do I have it now and I guess I remembered incorrectly , I was sure it was there thou.. but maybe was prolly using the avov as comparison, which did have the function.

Have you tried changing your setting for the Internet from static to the other one sorry I can't remember what it's called but a while back mine got stuck like yours and I changed the settings and it fixed it or just wait until the next update

Just because you keep getting the message does not mean 803 was not pulled.It was.
Do a factory set

There is a new update for the dreamlink out now if you haven't done a factory reset just reboot your dreamlink t1

It looks like new update is not retaining the favorites set by the user. It happened with me twice. After the update, my favorite list was lost. I set it again and today I discovered that they are again gone.
DreamLink team, please take a look into this and fix it please.

Is it possible that you were on your favorites list and as they were all gone from the list it showed blank screen with just the wallpaper?

My T1 started this DOL update freeze thing months ago. My version v1.04.08r325. rebooted so many times. I gave up and went back to old iptv box. I just broke itout today to give it a serious go through. You can avoid the automatic attempts at updating by quickly going to settings or market. I went to apps from the opening menu and it was blank (maybe bad). so went into settings and all apps are there. Maybe I just need to clear some space in storage. Will update if I can get her runnin as I dont think that there its any thing that cant be fixed.
