View Full Version : Help with IKS, IPTV Stalker client on Kodi
Hi all, new user here and eager to try this out. Bought myself a months sub on IKS but can't seem to get it to work.
I receive the below details:
Order Number
User email
IPTV PORTAL
SERVER
PORTS
DESKEY
STATUS
Username & Password Number
Add Mac address
The questions are:
Tried adding the last 6 mac digits of my Kodi setup to the rest of the default mac in the Client. Used the Username Number for both username & password in the kodi client. Got Authentication failed. Tried some other variations of the given details, with the same error.
Tried changing the mac address from the linked provided, but getting an error that mac couldn't be changed. Got a 24hr lock on the searches because of multiple tries.
Does the mac address in the reset page need to be the full mac of my machine running kodi? or just the last 6 have to be of my device?
Help on this would be appreciated as the guide I found on here couldn't get me through the auth errors I'm having.
Thanks guys!
If you're using Kodi, the MAC Address can be anything you want, with one constraint: The first 6 aplhanumerics have to be 00:1A:78 Beyond that, you can choose anything for the XX's, 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX, as long as they are in the ranges 0-9 and A-F.
There is more to configuration than you mentioned. (It sounds like you are configuring the IPTV Stalker Plus video add-on). The directions for configuring the add-on are in a sticky at the top of this subforum (and I'll repeat below).

Personally, I would configure Kodi's built-in PVR Stalker client, as it can incorporate a program guide. The instructions for configuring it are in a sticky at the top of the next subforum up (and are repeated here).

Follow the instructions to the letter. You can't skip anything. There is no way around the 24 hour lockout. No one at this end can override that.

Many thanks for your help! Managed to get it working. Another question if I may. I'm getting a list of channels, some work, but most of the channels do not load and time out, and from what I can see there are different ports that were sent to me. Is this something I can use to switch server? Or is there some thing I can do to fix these channels?
No, changing the portal will not change the situation you are having. We need to do a little more detective work. Some channels are down from time-to-time, but not to the extent that you are indicating. Just to make sure we're on the same page, are you using the IPTV Stalker Plus video add-on or PVR Stalker client?
Find CNN US. Will it open?
Ok, so. I tried the PVR stalker client, worked on first try. CNN worked on that one as well as History channel and some others, but channels like Fox, Cartoon Network, and some other famous ones didn't work.
I tried IPTV Stalker Plus to see if that improves things, got a few authentication failed with that one but at some point it did load the History channel... after that I removed the addon to switch back to the stalker client but now that wont work either (auth error), even after doing an IPTV reset from the donation page.
Did you close Kodi when you did the IPTV Reset? If not, you need to do that. Also, the reset takes some time to take effect. You need to wait approximately 15 minutes. If you try again, it may be working.
Yep that did the trick! I will wait till tomorrow maybe it will help with the non working channels. Did you have anything in mind when troubleshooting?
No, I just wanted to see if you might be trying channels that were actually down rather than some other issue.

Thanks for the help ilan, channels worked fine today :)
Would you be able to assist me with the epg update addon, as I cant seem to find a link or a repo for that one on here... links all hashed out. Or should I use a remote URL for that?
I'm glad to hear things are up and running today.
The add-on had not been working consistently in the recent past. Currently, there are some problems with the guide, so there is no way to get it working at the moment. It is being worked on, although I don't have any ETA for it being back in action.
Great. Thanks for everything then! Can be closed :)
