Reset new donation info into my Mag254

After many tries to renew my donation failed, I was forced to buy new donation. Apparently a common problem.
Ok. So now my Mag254 still running for a few days under old donation number.
How to get new donation onto Mag54?

I am thinking:
1. Remove the mac from the old donation number. Is this easy?
2. Put the mac on the new donation number. It won't let me do this as long as the old donation number still has the mac in it.

but from here I am not sure. Reboot the Mag254?
Will it try the old number, fail, and then let me enter the new info?
Or is there more that I have to do?
I have a couple days before the old donation runs out. I hope to solve this by then.

wait bthe couple of days and then before that donation expires (just before), then Reset the MAC to blank, no digits or symbols. Do an IPTV reset and it should then save as blank.
Then add that MAC to new donation, perform an IPTV reset and it will work.

Ok. I have no patience at all. I went right in and did the bleach-bit on the mac on the old donation number.
Then I checked it and it was 00:00:00:00:00:00. It worked. Then I put the mac into the new donation number. Then I put info into the Mag254 for the new IPTV Portal and then rebooted.
When it came back up, it asked me for the username and password. Both = donation number. And WALLAH! IPTV.

Would have been so much easier if the rocket server would have just let me renew my old donations. No matter what I did it refused. I even checked and double checked every single number. They were all correct. But the damned thing instantly issued me new donations with the exact same info. Go figure.
