Hello Everyone,
I am using Kodi to watch IPTV but I have realise a lot of channels are pixelated especially when changing from another scene. Is there any settings I can change to help with pixelation? Thanks again.
There may not be much you can do, but we'll give video acceleration a shot. Go to
System > Settings > Video > Acceleration > Disable "Allow hardware acceleration"
Reboot Kodi. See how things look. If it helps, stay put. If not, enable hardware acceleration again.
For some, it does wonders. For others, it does little or nothing or can make things worse.
Many channels are of low resolution. When the info. bar is on screen, if it says SD, the resolution can be from 480 down to 300.
They are transitioning many channels up to 720.
Until then...c'est la vie!

Thanks a lot for the reply guys.
@ilan - Thanks a lot for your support and instructions, truly appreciate it. I will try it when I reach home and update.
@kens - are you saying that because of the low resolution it causes pixelation? I don't think that's the problem because even when I try the HD channels and get the same pixelation when switching scenes or camera angles.
I will try what's ilan suggested and see if it helps.
