m8 quad core and mag 260

does anyone know if i can put a backup from mag 260 onto my m8.the 260 has apps in the app section that i need to fully run private iptv,and thats the only way i know to get them.the m8 does not have them.my buddy has the mag260 and i can get him to do a backup for me if it will work.thanks

I would not recommend it, if by app you mean an emulator or stalker function you can find either on site here, thks..

what app?? most are just apk files that can be found on the net and put on a usb stick and then added to the M8

Sorry im a newbie, my buddy has the 260 and it does more than my m8 on private server and his apps page has diff apps than mine.he can watch tv from his apps page before opening kodi with the private server.maybei need the emulater file since I already installed the stalker file.hope this makes sense.I have read until im blue in the face.im trying to get my m8 to functoin like his 260.thanks koolkat, will do more reading.thanks.if anyone can steer me in right direction I would apreciate it.again thanks for the replies.

There probably isn't a straightforward newbie way to migrate apps and data between different boxes. Apps are realtively easy to pull, but data could be a challenge. On a question like this, Google may be your friend.
