Loading time when switching channels

Great new guys, my only concern is the loading time when switching channels. Are the devices used loading the channels much quicker?, or because it is streaming you just have to wait on loading?

Channel change is pretty quick but there are some factors, connection speed and server connection can make a difference. I noticed that when I use the 5.0 GHZ connection is works faster because its dedicated to my stream boxes. I also noticed that when I purchased a new router dlink AC1900 my speed has increased dramatically and my MAG changes faster.

Depend of your internet, to switch fast minimum upload speed is 5Mps, not a cheap one - up to 1Mps and Download minimum 10-15Mps.

my internet upload speed 14mps download 50mps

I am allowed 14 from my isp and the max jump I see when streaming vod is @ 6mbps.
