Mag 254 was created for IPTV, you can use Youtube and web browser. but that's it.

You may also use PICASA App and WEATHER APP and you can use 1.iptvprivateserver.tv as PORTAL 1.

With the new Firmware update r11 you will have MULTIPORTAL MODE for 8 PORTALS/SERVER max.
So you can add some free Server like FREE TV or paid Server like W...TV or S......a

The MAG 254 is a Linux based box and we must wait what else will come for our baby.

I have found some VLC M3U lists and they also work very fine on MAG 254.

I tried loading primewire.ag into a portal but could not get the mouse to work, so I went to the inner portal and loaded it into favorites and loaded it and the mouse worked. I chose a movie and it wanted me to register a user name and password, said it was free, but I chose not to. Therefore, I do not know if it will play or not. I also loaded the netflex app that way but, when I tried to play a movie it said that it was not compatible with this device.

For example: I have a 32GB USB stick with many pictures, videos and mp3-Files.
All this I can play over Home Media Player from the Inner Portal.

And with the right Server address in Portal 1-8 you also may look TV:

You have the ability of record and playback content.
And over the nice Timeshift feature you may safe videos from TV channels on USB stick or USB HDD!
