Resolution button

Just received my new t1 and was playing with it and hit the resolution button.
now get the message "resolution not supported. Change resolution of the external device"
How do I change the resolution on the dreamlink t1. or do i need to do it n the tv.
TV works fine on hdmi 1. (samsung smat tv)
dreamlink t1 in on hdmi2 have error
