My mag 254 has no writing on front

I purchased my mag off of eBay. I just read a post about clones know I'm wondering my stb has no writing on the front of it either on the box or the stb.i see in photos that most of the stbs it says mag 254 on it. Does this mean anything? Thanks

Mine has nothing on the front. It's an original. The box it came in was for the Mag 250. Ebay is risky. Best to buy direct from informer or a reutable dealer. There are lots on comments about dealers in this forum. How much did you pay for it?

I paid $88 free ship on the eBay site it said seller was infomir i just know noticed payment was sent to new wave communications. I discovered this when system went down today and I read about clones thanks
