anyone else experiencing server info saving issues?

Hello all,

I just bought my avov tvonline 4, set it up and all is well.

Except I am experiencing an odd issue where I have to re-input my server name and password to get livetv to work every single time.
The server list information is saved, and I see the channel list-- but to not get a blue screen and actually get channels to load I have to reinput my server name & password each sitting.

This means every time I power down the box, (i.e. stop watching for the day) the next time I go to watch I have to go through a reboot cycle and re-input my server name & password. Is this normal, is there a way to save info that I am not seeing? Do you guys just leave it on all day?

does the box need a system update?

you can try box update in setting and version update in channel store hit all but it should save your info

I tried update--I believe system is running on newest version-- 1.0.10.

he means an installer update not firmware update......go to the market and hit all a few times to see if it will trigger an installer update.........Installer update is like a small patch to fix bugs..........

I tried that too, no installer update triggered. I'll keep trying though.

if you did all that do factory reset and start over it should save all info

Try going to settings and go to use credentials and put the info in there..

yeah!! 'use credentials' works! I should've tried it earlier, but the intro guide said leave it unchecked so I didn't toggle it.
