Freezing issue with Mag254

While watching random channel my Mag254 freezes and only hard reset by unplugging it works. It can also freeze if left for extended period of time at main menu. Help much appreciated

are you running wireless are internet cable on your box

mine does the same . I have had all kinds of stb's , they are electronics after all and do lock up on ya from time to time. the only way to fix it is to unplug it & plug it back in if all else fails.

Yes, my box is updated and I have very fast Ethernet connection. I have other boxes and no problems/freezing

Some channels do freeze one I watch quite a bit MUTV soccer not so much a freeze but pic breaks up and audio squelches just for a couple of sec but is not worth watching when like that about 25% of the time, find music channels run perfectly and far as lockup about once every three weeks, 7meg D/L.

Mine does lockup often I would say daily if just left in one channel or main menu for over 2 hours than nothing works but unplugging it. Just checked 83meg D/L 79meg U/L. I guess for now there is no cure. Its testing...Thanks
