What PVR Client to use with Kodi 16.1?

I'm trying to setup my IPTV on a newer version of Kodi as I've been keeping with Isengard for the same reason not being able to get IPTV to work using the stalker client in the new version. Is there a particular add-on to use in Kodi 16.1 and is it the same settings that would be used on Isengard?

Okay i've got it to load but there's no menu on the homescreen for me to select to watch IPTV after I've setup Stalker Client. Is there a fix for this?

You need to go into the TV settings and enable it.

Go into System > Settings > TV > General > check Enable TV at the top

Yeah Ive done that and the channels and epg guide loads but there is no menu for it on the homescreen just the ones that come with the new Pulse build. Ive got twelve menus on the horizontal scroll bar but no TV. If I go into SYSTEM > TV > GENERAL and scroll down to channel manager I can see I have the 799 channels.

Okay I've worked what I had to do. I had to go to SYSTEM > APPEARANCE > SKIN, scroll to settings > HOME MENU and add channels, just is case anyone else was having a similar issue. Thanks guys.

Yes, when people change skins and add different builds, it changes how everything works...somewhat. So it tends to be a bit of a crap shoot when we attempt to trouble shoot. We know what has to be done (in this case, enable television), but we don't know that someone is running an alternative skin in which that function has been moved to a different place.

Hello, I'm having problems setting up my Stalker Client in a new Kodi Installation 16.1. I used the Server URL you posted (portal5.iptv...) I put the Mac address shown on Papaio website along with my donation number as my user and password. I created a 13 digit serial number and 13 digit device Id and nothing. There is something missing? BTW before I had Iptv66 and the route was a 13 digit number, here I received and 12 digit.

Where did you get a MAC address off of the Web site? You need to create your own beginning with 00:1A:78 The last 6 characters are your own (from A-F and 1-9). You then associate it with your account in the Donation Checker.

You use the portal that was assigned to you. The portal assignment is available in the e-mail you received after the donation or from the Donation Checker. If you use the wrong potal (other than the one assigned to you), you will receive an error.

The Donation Number is 12 characters. The Route Number is 13. They are both used for the username and password depending on the service you are using.

Ilan thanks for the reply. I got my donation from iptv private server (NFPS) . The Portal they send me was 1.iptvprivateserver.tv, but I'm using Kodi 16.1, so that's why I used the second URL you mentioned on the second post. On the user and password I am using the donation number and on the serial and device I'd I'm making my own number. Thanks again

If you were assigned portal 1, you still need to use portal 1, but the longer URL, since you are using Kodi 16...
