Differences In Channels Etc.

Hi guys,

A query for clarity more than anything.

I've asked the question before about differences between the 3 supported IPTV servers and got the answer that all offer the same channel list/Videoclub.

I have a MAG254 which I bought from a reseller which only has limited channels - around 170 (before their server was hacked by a disgruntled ex-employee!)
My subscription is due renewal in a couple of months, so I'm weighing up my options.

I've spoken to various people who have a Mag box, but each one seems to be slightly different, one had a skin which was predominantly yellow as opposed to the blue I currently have. Another had CD albums available to listen to. Mine has a sub-section in videoclub for TV Box Sets.
I like all of these little differences but wondered if a reseller would have their own server and as such can alter what they provide.

Any comments welcome.

IPTV servers are different. All Mags are the same )Providing you are on the latest software). You can change your blue background to other themes. Some providers offer you just once theme, but some offer several. Clearly you haven't fully discovered what a Mag can do.

No it would seem that way.
Maybe I'm of the mindset "if it ain't broke don't try to fix it"
I don't mind playing around with stuff, but I don't want to go so far that I end up with just a black paperweight 😳
