Hi, this is my first time trying IPTV (trying to cut cable).
I bought an IPTV service and I was given a MAC address and a server URL.
I'm using Windows 8.1 and the alpha version of Kodi v17 alpha 3 and the built-in Stalker Client.
Everything up to this point is fine... I can see all the channels, their description, etc. The problem is when I try to click on one of those channels to watch, I get "failed to get stream url".
How do I fix this?
You indicate this is the first time you are trying IPTV. However, you posted here in February that you were using IPTV?
Voodoo sells many different packages. We don't support resellers here, and we definitely don't support the various packages offered by Voodoo. Your best bet is to reboot the device, modem and router to see if that will address the problem. If not, you will have to contact Voodoo for assistance.

My post in February was about watching ONE game of the Champion's League -- a link that I saw on Reddit that I copy/pasted on Kodi. After that game, I never used IPTV or Kodi again until today (I've been using Acestream instead).
Today was the first time I paid for an IPTV service because I was planning on using it long term.
I didn't realize resellers are not allowed here and I apologize. This is only the second time I've visited this forum and I have removed the name.

Rebooting the device, modem, and router did not do anything. I contacted where I bought the IPTV service from and I've gotten no reply for close to 16 hours now.
Anything else I can do aside from chalking this up as a loss?

kodi 17 is buggy use kodi 16.1
This error sometimes is the result of trying to use your service on more than one device, which (most likely) will not work. If you have more than one device connecting with the service, disable one of the devices. On the remaining device, go into the TV settings. In the General area, disable TV, clear data and then re-enable TV. The channels should load reload and they may be accessible.

Thanks for the reply but this is the only device I have this IPTV service running on. Kodi is not installed on any of my other PCs so I'm 100% sure it is running on my end on just one device (this PC I'm using).
I don't know about my reseller though. It could be that he gave me a MAC address that is still running on another device (like from its previous owner or something like that).
If you have other ideas please keep them coming! I reeeally would love to get this thing working and save $$$ from cable bills!

WOW, THANK YOU SO MUCH! IT WORKED!!!!!
It didn't work at first but I closed Kodi and ran it again and clicked a channel and immediately it loaded! Tried a dozen different channels and they all played.
Many many many thanks again!
