Dreamlink Android Smart - Any updates

Guys any updates on this unit? I have rocket server all set up, i have stb emulator, but when changing channels it get hung up and kicks me out. I have heard others talk about google play for VLC player, but will this improve use of this unit? I am not sure if i should just go out and buy a Mag box, or hold tight, and let them fix the bugs on this unit, just seems it has been a while, on any mention of this box.

I think asft means that the problem may not be the box but the problem may be the emulator or the player.
The newest available version of this emulator is the 5.22, I think.
The MXPlayer seems to work better for most, instead of any other player type that the dreamlink already has.

Yes, there are newer versions of the file but either of those will install fine. I'll see if I can update the post now to get the newer file versions. Sorry, life gets in the way sometimes

that would be great Bio, perhaps a step by step method if possible. I am not sure how to update anything.

Updated the post files just now. The setup in the first post in that link should get you going fine. I haven't installed the newer versions yet but doubt there is anything different with the install.
Make sure to set your last 6 digits of your mac address to match your stb.

so do i have do the setup all over, for the new updates? the new updates are there? I see the old date of 1.22.15? Which one is for the dreamlink? confusing stuff. lol

No one got back to me on post #9.

I did mess around with the android, I did some how manage to switch to mx player, i don't get kicked out now while changing channel, however do you find the picture is lesser quality using mx player?

in setup you can change from like 480p to 720p or 1080p have you changed that to 1080i or 1080p ?
