Windows 10 Issue - No PVRs Will Load

Have an issue here: Stalker works fine on Android and Windows 7 boxes. I inherited a new Alienware Gaming Box that has 16 gigs of memory and since I don't game, I figured I would use this as an HTPC (overkill, yes, but it was free!).

I had the Stalker PVR work for about a day or two and then after shutting down the pc, the next time I ran Kodi it would not load the channels. Bounced back and forth between that error and authorization failure. Tried everything that has always worked in Windows 7; reset iptv, new mac, even took the drastic step to reinstall Kodi but always a no go with either pvr. IPRV Stalker Plus loads ok and plays streams fine. But no epg with this and I just got a sub for Scedules Direct for my own epg!

Anyone have any ideas? Does Windows 10 present some challenge that other windows versions don't?

I do have other pcs that still have Windows 7 but would be nice to use this new computer.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Not sure. Odd, though. Have you thought about trying PVR Simple Client with IPTV Stalker Plus? Simple Client could handle the epg. Also, trying Simple Client will test whether all PVRs are a no-go (for some reason) on that machine.

Yes, I did try that. Still doesn't load up. I tried using the browser to make sure the server was on and at first it didn't work. Then I disabled the firewall and checked. I added a new firewall rule to make sure that Bitdefender wasn't the culprit and it finally showed the server was working.

Simple Client doesn't give an error, just doesn't load. Stalker Client always gives and error of unable to load channels.

Bummer. Would have been nice to use this pc. :(

Did you enable the m3u in IPTV Stalker? I've had the channels not load in Simple Client before when I went that route. It took a bit of finagling.

Yep, did that. Started, stopped and restarted the server, too. Bubkas! No errors, just dead simple client. If I re-enable Stalker, now | get authorization failure, yet the IPTV Client works fine. Have the 2 clients synced.

I'll not drive you crazy with trying to tinker with Simple Client, but if I remember, I would start the server, enable Simple Client and things wouldn't load. I would then exit and restart Kodi, and the channels would load. It was weird, but it did the trick.

Nah, didn't work. I'm going to 86 this idea. It's not worth it to me just to use this pc. Guess I'll just sell this thing to some gamer and use one of my windows 7 boxes.

Damn, sorry things didn't work out. Would have been a nice rig for an HTPC.
