Thanks for this information.
I Have put in the time to create and populate groups. And also hiding channels of no interest, a big job unless there is some easy way to select more than one at a time. My question is how can this work be backed up, and restored, if that should become necessary say in an update for example.
thanks
There is a backup ultility addon out there if you don't know how to do it manually.
Use USB-SDCARD WIZARD and you will have a complete backup/restore.

I much prefer to be in charge of my own system and so would prefer to do these backups myself. I've looked at my HD including the user folders but don't see the files I should backup. Can you advise path to these files please.

To get back on topic, for the stalker settings/ channels you may have to copy the 'database' folder as it's not readily apparent where the pvr clients save their persistent data.

I made a group called "test" to try to figure out how it works.
Umm.. now how do I delete a group that I made? (or rename) I can't find the option.

The same way you created the groups, go that route and you'll see the option on the right to delete or rename group...

I am not getting the option of adding a group. When I select group managment after right-clicking on Channels, the only options I get are:
Rename Group
Hide Group
Delete Group
OK.
If you delete a group there is no way of re-installing it without clearing cache and returning to defaults.

is there anyway to edit these channel lists outside of kodi? I don't want the international channels and really dont want to uncheck them one by one.............
