wifi on MAG 254

the factory site has backordered the wifi device..i had one from my I link it was recognized .. and worked perfect .....so I ordered the same type off internet all same specs look identical...it does not get recognized...any prep needed to use this ?.... like the one shipped with the I link... any help will be appreciated

I bought a Tenda W311MI 150Mbps IEEE802.11 N Mini Wireless USB Adapter on Ebay for 12 bucks and it works great. It was on the list of working adapters at the informer Wiki page.
