Universal remote

Has anyone successfully got a universal remote working with the tv online plus?
I've just broke my second avov remote. They seem to be a bit flimsy so would like to know if there are any other options.

Logitech Harmony works because of its large device database. It's not the cheapest but I can assure you, you'll never buy another Universal remote after this...
