Multiple issues

Hey guys I purchased this box from the sponsor because of its good reviews but I'm having some issues. 1 the video and sound always seem out of sync 2. I have to manually reset box constantly because it will not let me in to vod or apps, market no matter what I click it just takes me to settings. Things I have done include multiple manual rebbots seems to help then just goes back to the same issues. I updated but still has issues I even went as far as restoring then re updating but I still have the same issues. Any ideas?

do not get discouraged with your new stb. is the software updated to the most recent on the box. secondly being out of sync is a problem on some channels during the testing stage.

Trying to stay posotive. I updated so I just figured it uptated to the most current version maybe I was mistaken. What version are we at now?

did you watch this video that was posted . look at the 2:20 mark the sofware update to the latest. it seems pretty straight forward.

OK then if that's the case I should be up to date. I get the sound sync issue but what about not being able to get to vod or anything else until I do a manual reboot?

did you check in your settings menu, believe it's sys info to see if you have current update?? If so, then I would fac default and reset up your box..thks

after the default it takes some time for everything to reload so be patient and let the box do it's thing..

What is the current version? And I have factory defaulted a few times now and reset.

I was having the same issues as you. By trial and error i resolved the issue. Instead of hitting the home button, use the back button instead. Wherever icon setting you are at, keep hitting the back button, and then go to wherever you want to go. You will then get the proper display.
