I've been seeing a new baby blue/turquoise coloured version of the tvonline+ in circulation lately, however, don't see anything about a new version on Avov website. Does anybody here know anything about this? I'm wondering what the difference is.

I'm picking one up for testing in the next couple of hours so I guess I'll be the first to share my experience with this silver edition.

I remember when I bought mine the seller was super concerned that I knew he only had the red ones and not the blue one. No difference besides color as far as I knew so I gave no flux.

So I got one to test out and then picked up 10 more to sell. The only differences are..
1. Box colour
2. Nova is built in. I got the login screen for Nova upon initial boot up.
3. The box is running the same software and interface as the tvonline 4.
4. For those who buy from sources other than Avov, you'll know for sure that there is a one year warranty (or close to) as the blue boxes are new. Buying red at this point could be old stock and substantially shorter warranty period.
That's it really, same specs as the red. In my opinion the interface is much nicer than the original red version.

I wonder why they wouldn't push the improved ui to all of the + boxes?

That would be nice. If it has the exact same specs as all of our boxes then obviously our boxes can handle it.

Its really unfortunate they did this. Same box same hardware why not update your loyal customers? Hopefully they aren't going to abandon us with this silver edition tv online plus
