It seems that my brother lost the signal in his mag254 from his modem. So he naturally was getting a "no internet connection" message when it loaded to the portal loading page. When the cable company did a reset and got the signal back to the modem, the message was still there when he plugged in the power. He is 3000 miles from me. I've checked his settings in system settings. He did take the mag to another location with a working mag. He got the same message there. What else can I try to get his box working?

That seems a bit extreme at this point. I thought at worst he would send me the box and I would take it back to factory settings, and then set it back up like I did before. I thought maybe someone might have some suggestions to try.
jig jig, I'm curious, why you think the box can't be made to work again?
