Running openelec on an Rpi3. I have both iptv simple and stalker running, but simple does this even when it's the only one running. This occurs when watching live tv or streaming movies. Is there some setting I missed? After the streaming freezes and I get the screen back (using mouse and keyboard,) even changing channels only gives the spinnig and "can't find the url" error message. If I reboot, I can get the same channels it could not find just a moment before.
Autoupdate is on so I assume new versions of stuff are automatically installed.
Any ideas, please?

Thanks, 4ktvfan

You'll just have to get used to this behaviour as it is a built-in 'security feature' to dissuade hijacking of streams from non-paying ilk. It is annoying, but it is what it is.

2 hour limit is part of the server configuration (this is just what I've heard).
Without any activity, stream cuts out. Something about people leaving their units on, without being there... for days.
"Save's bandwidth" ??
If anything, it should be increased to 3hrs.

Stream tokens expire in 2 hours. You can restart a stream, before the expiration, or just restart when it happens. This does reduce the bandwidth use at the server, as there are those who do leave their stream running without watching it, but it's also a security measure, to prevent streams from being re-streamed easily. 2 hours is an arbitrary number, maybe on the short side for those who are watching sports or for longer movies. VoDs shouldn't have an issue with the stream expiration, but you might have that issue with PPVs.

GRRRRRRR. Why don't these <censoreds> tell you this BEFORE they take your money? They can kiss my <censored> right in the brown spot!!! Can you tell this makes me a bit angry? Lousy <censoreds> Don't they know how long it takes to S-L-O-W-L-Y creep back to the channel indicator to get back to the movie you were watching and you miss critical parts of the <censored> movie? <censored> <censored> them.
