Hi Everyone,

How's the video quality suppose to be on IPTV Stalker. Mine is choppy? Is that normal?

A channel here and there may buffer once in a while, but if you're getting choppiness across the board, there's something else going on.

You might want to give a few more details about your set-up. If you're using wireless, try hard wiring if you can to see if that makes a difference. There could be an issue with video acceleration as well, but we won't know until you fill in with some details.

Do you know the details (especially download speed) for your Internet Service plan?

Choppy on american stations (mpeg 2 audio), british stations are fine ( AAC 2) on kodi.

Depends on the set up. I have no choppiness on my US MPEG 2 Audio channels. I watched a couple of hours of soccer on ESPN earlier w/o choppiness. I'm watching CNN now with no choppiness.

I would almost bet it's like Ilan mentioned and is you have acceleration on. Turn it off and see if that gets you sorted.

When it even works, I find the video quality abysmal. It seems these guys use very low bitrates with maybe LOTS of lossy compresion. It's not my signal chain because Netflix comes in beautifully, even the 4K movies. Costs are about the same between Netflix and this iptv stuff. Worse, you have to reboot every couple hours, apparently so the servers don't "waste bandwidth in case you've fallen asleep." Bah.

Did you ever get this sorted as my Avov with Kodi has been the same for long time. If I want the likes of CBS / NBC I go to USTVnow Plus and they work fine with no jittering.

Did you try turning off video acceleration? This is often a symptom of a video acceleration issue.

All channels are not HD to begin with. If you want to experiment with altering video acceleration, the settings are available from...

System > Settings > Video > Acceleration
