I am currently log on to this account and password was used properly. It has been some time ago when i logged in and password was save some where on computer.

I would like either to obtain my password or change it. system requires me to enter old password to change it. any assistance appreciated.

your browser must have saved the password. You can find it thru your computer.
Do not set your browser defaults or delete cache or erase saved passwords till you get this found, or you will be locked out.
I have found my lost saved passwords thru computer in the past. I forget how at the moment thou.
And each browser would be a bit different.
