Mag 254 Interner not connected

I am having a problem with getting my box to connect to the internet. I am on a VPN and although the ethernet cable is connected it is not recognising it. Keeps saying "Internet NOT Available"
Any ideas? Please

how are you running a vpn on a flash router

i dont really know all the technical stuff. I know that because my ISP blocks all streaming boxes, we have to use a VPN as a work around.
And it works. Mine just isn't.

I did some testing and disconnected the lan cable and connected it to my laptop and it didn't work. No internet access either. So I know the lan cable is NOT the problem.
