Avov tvonline+ to mag254

I purchased the new avov about a month ago. It has many problems. I want to go back to my mag 254 but when I enter the username and password I get a error message. can anyone help me get back to my mag254? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have done a reset on the website. Or you talking about doing a reset on the mag254?

Shut off both boxes. Then do a reset. Then fire up the mag.

Assuming you have your portal set correctly and are using your donation # for login and password you should be good to go.

I have done that I get a error message when I try to put in the username and password. Please help me so I have tv. I'm going to use my avov for a boat anchor.

I don't have a mag so probably won't be of much further assistance, but specifically what error are you getting so others might be able to assist?

Every time I try to change the mac address it tells me it already exists.

if going back to mag wonder why but all you need to do is add all your new info need to change the old mac to all zeros first then load new

Thanks asft for your reply. The only reason I want to go back to the mag254 is because the avov has no sound on the channels I watch. Once this is fixed I will go back to the avov.
