Can't change Portal on my Mag 254 - please help!

Hi guys.

I've owned a Mag 254 for over a year and had no problems with it. However, recently my subscription with my provider ran out and I decided to change to a cheaper subscription.

My new provider has sent me the URL to enter into 'Portal' in the inner menu, however, the 'Portal' option is simply not there on my Mag box. Whenever I go into system settings and click 'Servers', the only option in the next screen is 'General.'

My new provider said to ask my old provider in case he has locked my Mag box. I emailed my old provider today and he categorically denied that he locked the box, and even offered some help towards fixing the problem - which didn't work.

I have tried factory resetting the box from the bios menu, and also tried flash resetting the box using the bootstrap and clean image files - this didn't work either.

No matter what I do, I cannot get the 'Portals' option to reappear. I have already paid for a years subscription with my new provider and really don't want to have to buy another Mag box and another subscription.

Can anyone please advise me what to do?
