Just got a new mag 254

When I booted up the 254 all I get is messy screen like if on PAL.I put in place of my roku 3 which plays fine.My hd tv does not have hdmi so I am using a powered hdmi to component video adapter which works great with the ruko.I am going to try the other connection option on the mag 254 but have to order a 1/8 jack to rca.Anyone know what the trouble may be?

Everything good now after reset.

Have you tried changing the video resolution in settings? a 1x3 rca cable should have ben included with the mag but I do not think you will like the display.
