Problem turning on the box after shutting down.

When I turn the box off, the light stays red for a while then it turns off. When I try to turn it on again with the remote, the light turns on but the screen is blank. Then I have to turn it off and on with the switch at the back of the box. Is this a hardware problem or the firmware??

Most likely firmware. But it sounds like u did the soft turn off.l hold their power button and make sure the Android OS pop-up with power off

I just got mine yesterday and it does the same thing.

Do a factory reset, there was a update today and may have caused that.

It happens when you do a soft off in the screen where you see the three choices VOd, TV, Settings. When you try to turn it on again it doesn't respond, I have to turn it off/on from the back.
