What i have noticed is that the emulator works differently on different android boxes. And we all know there's thousands of different boxes out there. I have tested it with an m8 and a beelink r68. These two have different chip sets. The emulator works almost perfect on the m8,only hd stutters on exo player, while audio is missing on many channels using exo player on the beelink. I am curious what if any android box or chipset the developer of this app favors to have optimal performance from this emulator.

The emulator uses 3 different players: Exo, IJK and the one that is installed with Android (the system one, "Internal"). I haven't developed these players, so if some player doesn't work, or work incorrectly on some devices, it's either a bug in the player, or in codecs it uses, or in device hardware.

Do you know why exo player doesn't play sound and crashes on second generation amazon firebox? I stopped using my emulate because of the issues.

I don't know why. I only have a Fire tv stick, so cannot test the app on firebox.
But I assume that this happens because of some missing codecs on the box.
Have you tried to switch to Ijk player?

It sucks I love your emulator it worked great on stick but it's slow so I upgraded to firebox now it's unwatchable.

I'll try to release a new version in a few days with updated Exo player. Hope it will work better on firebox.

Google suspended both versions of the app (free and paid), because Infomir sent them a complaint that I violate their copyright on name "IPTV STB Emulator", as it's a registered name of Infomir (http://cocatalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?v1=1&ti=1,1&Search_Arg=iptv%20stb%20emulator&Search_Code=TALL&CNT=25&PID=CQrU6uSblo4cjbvYWgB6kzYj9w7YD&SEQ=20160628094316&SID=1). However, according to the link, Infomir has registered this name April 5th, 2013, but the first version of my app with the name "IPTV Set-Top-Box Emulator" was released in October 1, 2012 (afair). So if Infomir thinks these names ("IPTV STB Emulator" and "IPTV Set-Top-Box Emulator") are equal, this means I've used this name first and they don't have any rights on it (prior art? I don't know juridical English good enough).
Infomir also complained that I violate copyright on "Stalker Middleware", however I've never mentioned that I'm owner of this middleware or developed it. And because it's free (at least for use) and opensource, I used it as a demo portal. For now I've changed demo portal page, so there shouldn't be any complaints about that anymore.
I've sent the information above (most of it) to Google, so hope they'll restore both apps (they should answer in 72 hours).
