Static on hd but not on sd

Hey guys need help I have a I-link 9600 and have a strange problem. I have this annoying static sound coming from my HD channels but not the SD channels. I have used a different TV, different hdmi cable and still same problem. The static blocks out the sound like the channel is blocked so any ideas what I can do next, or do anybody else have this problem.........thanks.......two-dogs

Come on where are all the guru's, oh I forgot to mention I have picture but static for sound

Has to be your equipment. No static here. Try a different box or computer and see if you get the same results.

Wasn't the equipment is was the damn cable for some reason it buzzed in the bed room but not in the front room. It's funny but the dish box works just fine who knows but put it back in the front room and no static, but now it must be down I get a connect but nothing else.........thanks for your time....two-dogs
