Upgraded to Kodi 16.1. Now authentication failed.

I just upgraded to Kodi 16.1 and I'm getting the authentication failed message. Settings have not changed and are still working on my Kodi 15.2 machines. Did all kinds of resets, to no avail. How do I get Stalker Client to work on Kodi 16.1?

Kodi 16 doesn't handle URL forwarding. If you were using ver 15, you need to change your server URL Address.

If the server is 3.iptvprivateserver.tv then you would use portal3.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html

If the server is 4.iptvprivateserver.tv then you would use portal4.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html

If the server is 5.iptvprivateserver.tv then you would use portal5.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html

etc
And definitely Go to system settings/TV/ General tab and Disable, then Clear your Data, do an IPTV Reset at Papiao site, then Re-enable TV.

Did you try looking in the Kodi/xbmc area. I saw lots of posting re: setting up Kodi 16.1

This subforum is to help people with issues with their accounts, not generally for configuring their components for connection. Its best to search for info in the Kodi discussion, or the various box subforums on configuration. I'm sure there is a sticky about that!
