mag 254 setup

HI FOLKS, I just received my mag 254 and am having some problems setting up. and I need your help.i have gone through the setup process and all is well untile I get to the reboot section,after I click on the reboot the screen goes to the loading portal, and stays there,i left it on all night, and same thing in the morning, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.??

Did you try unplugging it to see if it takes hold after? Some are stubborn and have to be rebooted again. Also, did you update the os and make sure the server info was entered correctly?


EDIT :: Pressing setup on your remote while booting will allow it to boot to inner portal instead of the server login BTW. You can confirm settings if you need to that way

HI BIO, thanks, yes I have rebooted several times, to no avail,and no I haven't updated anything, I didn't know I had to , and how to do it, the server info I entered was i.iptvprivateserver.tv,

Did you use the guide when you set yours up? If you did, step 4 sets the auto update and you can press f2 to manually check for an update.

I did a factory default, now this is what I have on screen, tftp load. and the screen is frozen.

I am no help in this wlpl, we need the professionals... me thinks they are still sleeping or out walking the dog or something.

You factory reset it, and because of that the box is primed for them to load software to it. You want to boot it so your needs are different from the factory. In the reset how to thread there is a post 2, it should get you booted.
