Authentication error with Stalker Client - using 22.iptvrocket.tv

Hi all,

So I am sort of out of ideas with this issue, and I'm hoping that someone could point me in the right direction.

I have tested using:
Kodi 15.2
Stalker Client 0.8.4
Stalker EPG Updater 1.0.17

also

Kodi 16.1
Stalker Client 1.0.8
Stalker EPG Updater 1.0.17

Both of the above are using the IPTV Stalker Plus 10.2.4-r2 (so that they work correctly with papioa.tv server 22 donation)

I am on IPTV server 22.iptvrocket.tv
My MAC address is using the 00:1A:79.xx.xx.xx

I can view the channels when I use IPTV Stalker Plus, so I know that the donation and MAC address combination works fine.

I have changed the MAC address, Reset IPTV and restarted Kodi but I am still getting an Authentication error when I enable Stalker Client.

I have tried with AND without "Configure Stalker Client" in the Stalker EPG Updater.

I can't help but think that it may have something to do with Server 22 on IPTV Rocket. I can't change that I don't think.

Can anyone shed some light on this, or has anyone experienced this yet?

00:1A:79 MAC Prefix is for MAG and AVOV Boxes.
KODI and STB Emulators require prefix 00:1A:78

Disable TV/ clear your Data. Change this prefix in kodiPVR Settings. Go to Server site and change your MAC# to proper format for KODI
Restart KODI and Enable TV.

Thanks for the advice, and it is most likely correct. The HUGE issue is that in Papiao.tv, the server 22 currently has an issue with 00:1A:78 MAC addresses and won't authenticate. Therefore, I am forced to use the r2 IPTV Stalker Plus client, which fixes the MAC prefix.

I am with NFPS so I am not sure with Rocket or 66 but it should relate the same if you are using KODI 16 and up
I posted this a while back when KODI15 came out...

Kodi 16 doesn't handle URL forwarding.

If the server is 3.iptvprivateserver.tv then you would use portal3.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html

If the server is 4.iptvprivateserver.tv then you would use portal4.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html

If the server is 5.iptvprivateserver.tv then you would use portal5.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html

etc


So you should try -> portal22.iptvrocket.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html or portal2.iptvrocket.....

Actually, the url is portal1.iptvrocket.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html , for 22.iptvrocket.tv, but no one has yet reported success with the PVR Stalker, even using the 00.1A:79 prefix. There appears to be an issue with url request string coming from PVR Stalker.

That is unfortunate. I now have a bunch of donations that I cannot use :-(

I opened up a ticket with Papiao.tv to explain what is happening but I haven't heard back yet.

Who develops the Stalker Client? Can we speak with them about an update?
