Buffing

It hard to watch anything on live tv with all the buffing. Is this ever going too be fixed?

It would help if you post what channels so others can check them... If all your channels are buffering then it's something else going on because if all the channels were buffering than the forum would be flooded with complaints which isn't the case. So if it's only certain channels post them so others can check them. If it's all your channels then it's not a server issue and you have either a ISP issue or a setup issue unfortunately. If it's all your channels there isn't anything for the server people to fix.....

Here are some channels that have not worked for a long time. 105,113,102,157, also there is the (working) that takes 3 minutes to stop. Is there not a way that 15 second could be applied? If the channel doesn't start by then, then it isn't going to.

I have unwatchable buffering too, on most, if not all, channels, but only during Pacific time zone prime time. The ISP is not the problem here, it tests fine. VPN or not. And non-Stalker streams play with no buffering in prime time. I believe it's a problem with the Stalker server being overloaded at those times of day.

It's really not the server it's the way your ISP routes to the server. Other streams that your playing have absolutely nothing to do with it as they aren't hosted in the same country so you can't compare the two of them. If it was a server overload as you say don't you think that the forums would be flooded with complaints? It's not so you have something else going on and it could be totally out of your control unfortunately. When people get buffering it's when there part of the country everyone is using the Internet and that bogs it down.

Thanks for the alternative explanation pod77. I run speedtest.net at various times and my ISP provides about the same bandwidth throughout the day. When I connect through my VPN it shows a similar (but slightly slower) consistency. I will try connecting through some different VPN servers tonight (Florida, Costa Rica, California) to see if this helps and report back.

Buffering can be fixed, but more often than not, you can start by configuring your router so your IPTV & IKS boxes have a QOS or high quality of service which will provide them will priority connection speed and throughput or streaming. You can also help by going into Kodi, assuming you use it, look for extended settings or download it and configure it so it has more memory, cache to buffer with. Might be good idea to go to Utube and do a search for ......how to setup buffering....it has step by steps to setup.
