AVOV TVOnline4 - New version available Wed May 25

I have no info on the latest version of this box but considering the time lines between versions, I have to wonder what changes they've actually made with this one but no specs are available yet so its going to be tough to say what it will or won't have to offer. Personally, I would prefer to pay more for a box with a quad core 2.4ghz CPU, a high end 4K Uhd graphics engine supported by 8gbs or ram, a 2.4/5ghz wifi and a T1000 ethernet port along with at least one USB 3.0 or 3.1 port, a micro SD port for extra memory and a reset button. I know its a lot of preferences but I would prefer to pay more and future proof what's to come then pay now, pay later and pay again when everything moves to Marshmallow 6.0 or higher or support vanishes altogether.

i'll be quite annoyed now as im sure ill get the standard 1 gb version.

its not an issue of everyone getting the same box it an issue of if they plan on having different models with different options they should be available on launch so I can make that choice then. Also the air remote was not available but today it is its kind of annoying.

I agree .
not that i would've bought the air remote but that option wasn't there for me either yesterday.
I find a standard mouse the best for navigation .

they just open that new site few thing went wrong now they have the air mouse which is great to have when you need to type in stuff or on net now with different models i dont thing so but i asked them that just now think that will change or will get answer maybe a typo i just dont know but you can place external hard drives into the units It should be able to take up to 1tb

Seriously that is good news! but HDD isn't the issue its the ram for KDOI

I would say this Memory: 1G DDR3 think you'll be surprise how box runs and i would say get air mouse i am if you have fuse its just a little smaller then fuse with add on and 4k ultra-high definition

With the speed of these newer processors I've been seeing lately, 1 gig vs 2 gig of ram makes no difference for Kodi. The dreamlink T1, for example, runs Kodi as fast as my Minix U1 depsite only have 1 gig ram. I would expect the same from this new Avov device.

Got my tracking info Thursday. Mine is coming USPS out of Buena Park,CA. I live in So.Cal. Don't know if all will come out of same place. Should get Tuesday due to holiday.

I just received my Canada Post tracking info which indicates it has been picked up in Ontario and being shipped regular post which has an expected delivery date for the second week in June. Personally, my main focus and primary reason for buying this box relates to lollipop 5.1 as it will make this box run much faster and smoother than all the other AVOV boxes running kitkat. As for the memory, it concerns me far less as more often than not, the entire memory is not used with the 1gb of DDR3 and most will realize this if they have other android boxes with 2gb or more installed.

I'm sure it would have been closer had it been shipped out of California since I'm in BC but hard to tell with Canada Customs, etcetera.

793bob that nova it has not been turned on yet so i cant tell you but tvonline is same cant tell you about nova what i can say box loads up ez very fast sound is great picture is bomb kodi runs fast remote i click and go i would say get air mouse if you dont have one bluetooth seen my samsung tv i paired it lots more to try when all is done like i said wife and kids took it from me

that is no on that what a few members said it will be soon like i said nova is still not on it i know they are working round the clock what i can say this is a nice box to own im very happy with it and its still not there yet two things i will say fast and will luv the picture and a cam movie is still a cam and 480 is same
